     The Battle of the Beast and has matured at a phenomenal rate and exceeds all expectations of a PRO-BULL RIDING event.  The over whelming support we have received at our pro-bull riding events has been extremely rewarding.  Giving the privilege to connect with the hundred of thousands citizens (195,000) who have attended our events, has convinced us that the sport of bull riding has had an astounding impression on the population.  It is and has always been our goal to capture the interest in new patrons as well as continuing to provide fresh, new entertainment to our current supporters. 

     We are currently in contact with reputable business such as yours, in support of the 2009 Battle of the Beast Series.  We realize how important it is to promote a business, product or service in the most cost effective manner and believe we can do that at our pro-bull riding events, with our innovative promotional opportunities.  As business owners ourselves we recognize the cost and effects of advertising, for we spend a large amount each year to achieve the success with our Battle of the Beast events.  We believe if the public is not aware of the great entertainment we provide they can not attend.  After eleven years of intense publicizing we are amazed of the number of people whom have never even heard of the J Bar W Ranch.  We realize as business owners ourselves, we are held accountable for the success of our establishment and informing the general public of who we are and what we have to offer, so they can strengthen our business and help us to continue to prosper.  We look forward in establishing a partnership with you in 2009.

     Our events have been highly credited for the professionalism displayed.  The livestock competing at our events were either born or raised at our ranch. Throughout the last two decades we have strived to institute a highly respected pen of bucking bulls and are very proud to have received honors amongst the top breeders nationwide.  Outstanding bulls and cowboys make up for one dynamite show.    

     The Battle of the Beast is approved & sanctioned by the IBR (International Bull Riders Assoc., Inc).  Each show will consist of thirty professional IBR bull riders competing to ride some of the toughest bulls in the world of rodeo.  The top ten finalists will come back for the showdown round and compete, to determine who will take home the prize money.  Other events may include Cowgirls Barrel Racing, and Special Sponsored participation events, like the Wild Cow Milking Contest, Cowboy Poker, and for the children, everyone's favorite 'Mutton Busting'.  As always our shows are high-energy, on the edge entertainment for the entire family.

     Through our events, we have been fortunate enough to help generate over $90,000 for the Patty Pollatos Fund (PPF), a 501C, a non profit organization that raises money for cancer victims and the terminally ill in Frederick County, which $50,000 of that money was pledged and donated to Hospice of Frederick County for the building of their new Hospice House. Over $8,000.00 has been raised for Alzheimer's Western Maryland Chapter and over $20,000.00 for various other non profit clubs, organizations and church groups.  We welcome you to join us, in experiencing a sense of pride in being involved in this fantastic event.
